Biography
Narek Sukiasyan is a political scientist and an aspiring PhD candidate at Yerevan State University, Armenia. His academic experience incudes interdisciplinary academic training in Romania, Germany, Chezh Republic and Armenia. His main research focus is on Armenian-Russian relations, Security studies, Armenian foreign policy, democratization.
Narek has worked with Transparency International Anti-corruption center in Armenia contributing to the election monitoring team of the consortium for a number of local and national elections. He has also served as a short term observer for several elections in Ukraine as well as a long term observer in Moldavian elections at The European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO). Currently, Narek works at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung as a Project Coordinator at foundation’s South Caucasus office, where his work focuses on projects related to peace and security, democratization, social policies and sustainability.
