Veronica Laputska

Veronica is a Co-Founder of the EAST Center in Warsaw, Rethink.CEE GMF Fellow and PhD Candidate at the GSSR, Polish Academy of Sciences. In her current capacity Veronica has implemented and carried out various projects dealing with democratization, elections, propaganda, and media studies. Veronica’s research interests and expertise also include study of the nationalism and politics of memory, visual, gender and Jewish studies. 

Previously Veronica has worked with OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the EU East StratCom Task Force, the Council of Europe, CEPA, MEMO98, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, as well as in business consulting and academia. She holds a Master’s Degree in Economy and Society from Lancaster University, a Master’s Degree in East European Studies from the University of Warsaw, a Master’s degree in European Studies from the European Humanities University and a Specialist Diploma (MA) in International Relations from the Belarusian State University. Ms. Laputska also studied at the Charles University in Prague, Lund University and Tel-Aviv University.
