Vitaliy Moroz

Vitaliy Moroz is an independent consultant in digital technologies with more than 10 years of experience in the field.

In 2009-2019 Vitaliy Moroz worked as a Head of New Media at Internews Ukraine, one of the leading media NGO in Ukraine. In Internews Ukraine, Vitaliy was responsible for strategic planning and implementation of new technology and media projects. He has overseen programs aimed to promote digital security, fact-checking,  Internet freedom, and digital rights for journalists and civil society. 

Vitaliy is a Fulbright Program alumni, in 2012-2014 he had studied multimedia journalism at Emerson College in Boston. He defended his Master’s thesis on the social media impact on the anti-government protests in Ukraine. He also has BA and MA in political science from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. 

In Nov 2017 he was listed by Visegrad Fund, Financial Times, Google and ProPublica in New Europe 100: eastern Europe’s emerging technology stars representing Ukraine.

Vitaliy has conducted more than 500 training sessions and public talks on the issues of technologies for civil society, innovations for media and multimedia.
